We keep your crews working more efficiently, and that is the bottom-line. Customers often ask us, why should we buy from | you? The answer is not that we represent the number one product in the world or that we have five locations to serve you. The fact is that we do one thing better than our competitors and that is training. We know that the quickest way for our business partners to get their | return on investment, is to educate and empower your crews with the knowledge to get the job done. That’s the Ozark Laser difference! When we put our business model together over seven years ago, we made significant investments in our training programs. Today, we are recognized as one of the top three dealers in all of North and South America for Topcon Positioning Systems. We were able to achieve our goals by investing in our own state-of-the-art training facility complete with a real jobsite that simulates what your crews face everyday. We purchased our own motor grader with complete automation including 2D sonic and laser controls, as well as all 3D-GPS systems and hardware. We invested heavily in our people and hired one of the best trainers in the country, if not in the world for machine control automation and positioning technologies. Bill Crumb, Executive VP & CTO of Ozark Laser is a veteran of the earth-moving industry | | and trains your crews how to get the job done right, the first time! Bill started his construction career in | Sacramento, California in June of 1975. He operated a Cat D6D for Grade-Way Construction until 1979. He was promoted to motor grader operator for GradeWay in 1980 and by 1983 was running some of the first automatic cross-slope systems in the country. In 1986, Bill was recruited by Rick Davidson, owner of Advanced Grade Technology and inventor of Agtek System One. Bill was hired to oversee national and international training for Agtek through the late 80’s and early 90’s, and worked closely with that company in devel- oping the next three generations of modern-day machine control. | | In 1994, Bill accepted the position of Machine Control Product Manager with Topcon Laser Systems who acquired Agtek’s machine control division that same year. At Topcon, Bill helped develop the world ’s first automatic excavator control system Touch Series Five, and furthered the design and advancement of Topcon’s System Five motor grader controls, which are still the standard of the industry today. Bill has trained operators worldwide from Japan to Brazil and from Europe to Australia. Bill brings a unique and hands-on perspective to Ozark Laser’s training courses and we are proud to have him as a member of the Ozark Laser team! Our training program is second-to-none, and has become the model by which all other dealerships are measured.
